I am an adjunct English instructor at a couple of community colleges in Northern California. I am also a teacher of Scottish Country Dance, certified by the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. I can speak with some authority on those topics, but claim no special authority in the science/math/politics posts, beyond that gained through voracious reading. I became addicted to the printed word at an early age, and have no plans to kick the habit.
